 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3975850/Graph%20Example.pdf is the link to a file I created using CamScanner Free.  With CamScanner Free you take a picture from within the application.  It then lets you select an area of your picture to scan.  It turns this into a pdf.  You have the option to upload this to various cloud computing sites.  I use dropbox for cloud computing.

If my WordPress app were working (EDIT:  Strangely the app works over the 3G phone network, but not over wireless networks.) I could scan and post a blog entry without having access to a computer.  I could choose to use the original picture inline, or the pdf as a link.

The reviews of CamScanner mention other iphone scanner applications.  I may look at those if the prices are reasonable.
