The Mud Hens beat the Bisons (sic) 3-2.
Brent Dlugach broke a 2-2 tie with a lead off home run in the ninth. This led to an encore playing of his walk up music and a sing along from the group of 14-18 year olds on a softball team sitting two rows behind us.
Another fun point in this game was when Ortega came on in the seventh after Oliver had allowed the first 4 batters to reach. The bases were loaded with no outs and the score was tied 2-2. Ortega struck out the next three hitters.
Raburn had an infield single. He deserved a hit in his second at bat when he line out to third so on balance a one hit game was fair. He struck out in his first at bat.
You really can’t beat the grill just on the first base side of home plate for your Mud Hens concessions. But, the people next to us today had some great looking Mexican food from the first base side near the foul pole. I may have to try that next time we are in Toledo.
