Run Differential By Game

Based on the Tigers’ runs scored and runs allowed they would typically have 4 more wins than they have right now.  Their run differential by game can explain this.  The numbers on the horizontal tell how many more runs the Tigers scored than their opponent.  Negatives indicate losses.  The height of the bar indicates how many times that has happened this season.

The Tigers have won a surprising number of games by 4 or 5 runs.  They are also 6-9 in one run games.  Typically teams are around 0.500 in one run games.
