NOT BASEBALL

I purchased some beer at Costco for Thanksgiving. Some members of my family won’t drink Two Hearted Ale. In the spirit of the season I have decided to accommodate the heathens with an assortment from New Belgium. Obviously I need to try the three varieties I have not tried before serving them to others.

New Belgium 1554 Black Lager has a thin mouth-feel and a coffee-like taste. It is OK, but not a substitute for a nice porter, stout, or nut brown beer. I’d drink it again, but would choose many craft beers over this one.
