Lilly #13: Bottleneck Method


The presenter gave a seven-step method to help students past common difficulties. In particular it emphasizes how do experts do the task and how to convey that to students.

The author adds an eighth step where the teacher reflects on why the process works.

I don’t have a direct takeaway for the CTEI. I might try the “how do the experts do this” idea to something in quantitative reasoning in winter.
