This was a 20-minute session about how students can demonstrate their view of teaching and learning through metaphor. “The teacher is _______. The student is ______”

Knowing what the students think then the teacher can address things like having the students be more active than indicated in some metaphors.

I’ll add this to my mix of possible opening day activities.
