I don’t think I can add anything directly about the Tigers trading Jackson and Granderson that hasn’t been said already.  What I hope to learn this weekend is what free agent third basemen and corner outfielders will be available after the 2010 season.  The Ordonez and Inge contracts expire next year so the Tigers will have openings in positions typically occupied by great hitters.  And they will have Ordonez, Inge, Robertson, Bonderman and Willis (Granderson, too) off the books leaving a lot of payroll room to sign free agents.

The 2011 team may be quite impressive.
