Well, yesterday my daughter asked Ziegler for a second hat for a friend.  He said, “Ask me tomorrow.”  Well, either he always has a promotional hat with him, or he remembered because he gave her a hat for her sister.  (Her friend was not with us.)

Oh yeah, the game.  (I’m not linking to this mess.)

Porcello did not pitch very well, but somehow made it into the seventh allowing only two runs.  Unfortunately the Tigers scored zero and Brad Thomas pitched.  Tigers lost 6-0 falling to two games over 0.500 and 3 1/2 behind the Twins.

Ziegler has pitched well in both games.  At least he will not be available tomorrow.  Maybe he’ll have a hat for my oldest daughter though.
