A Week and an Opponent Gone

BASEBALL

The Tigers pealed a week off the calendar losing no ground to the Indians.  In the meantime they swept the White Sox, dropping them back below 0.500 and 8.5 games back.  The Sox have 25 left to play and the Tigers have 22.
