BASEBALL

We went to ALCS game 3 today.  Pre-game we got a couple balls, but nothing was special about them.  Also, we noticed that the field-flag for the ALCS is about 4 times bigger than the field flag for the ALDS.  If the Tigers make the World Series the flag will not fit in the park.

The game went well.  Fister gave up three hits and a run in the first, but the hits were two ground balls and a bloop single over Peralta.  In later inning she got two double plays to even out the luck.

Martinez, Peralta and Cabrera homered.  This is a good sign since the Tigers middle of the order players have not been hitting.  Hopefully the hitting continues and the Tigers overcome the two game deficit they brought back from Texas.
