The Hens starting pitcher, Thad Weber, was called up to Detroit. So, they moved up Garcia. It didn’t work out today. The Mudhens lost 12-6.

My kids got to do the chicken race though. They won $60 to use at a Toledo bar and grill and T-shirts. I don’t think they’ll wear the shirts to school Monday.

It was a fun despite the score. The Mudhens seem to be having a good year. Hopefully they will be good enough to overcome our presence at a couple more games!
