The memorable part of this game was a Fister error. The Pirates pitcher Burnett bunted and Fister had an easy play at the lead runner at third. A bad throw and a bad pick up up Delmon Young led to the Pirates third and fourth runs. This would have been particularly frustrating except the Tigers only scored one run.

Fister gave up two runs in the first on a combination of pitches that caught too much of the plate and hits that landed where they ain’t.

Delmon Young had two three pitch strike outs in addition to his error and needs to go now.
