BASEBALL
Well, I had things set up to go Wedensday to see the Tigers have a chance to clinch the pennant. Potential rain and an overly conservative MLB office took that away. Granted, the game would have had a mid to late inning delay, but holding up a game for two hours in dry weather just doesn’t seem the right philosophy. The game might finish. Fans have already spent money. And even if the storm misses would they start a game at 10 PM or would their TV partners balk?
Call the game immediately or play it in these circumstances.
Anyway, my Tuesday and Thursday work schedule explains why there are no ALCS in person games here.
