Not Baseball

I write this having arrived at E Lansing a day early for the young one’s graduation.

Many family members are at the Ugli Doll Movie. I thought I’d watch the Tigers. This is also ugly as the Royals scored 4 on Ross in the first. Hence, I review a beer.

The Ellison Spirits Crescent Fresh IPA seems fairly mild. Nothing piney or citrusy leaps out. I see it as a patio-in-summer IPA, or a gateway IPA for people who say [sacrilegiously] that Two Hearted Ale is too bitter.

I’d get it again, but if I have a second here it will be Two Hearted.

(I had the stout earlier this week from Ellison- that I would highly recommend.)
