Teahen’s Defense

This was a crisply played 2:04 game that the Tigers won 5-1. In the fourth inning third baseman Mark Teahen threw an inning ending double play ball to third into right field. The Tigers went on to score four runs that inning. An injury to Beckham moved Vizquel to second and required the White Sox to play Teahen at third.

Bonderman went eight innings and struck out eight while allowing only four White Sox to reach.
