I move to 5-1 in in person games this year. Scherzer pitched 8 innings in this one striking out 7. The White Sox only managed to get two runners past first- one on a ground out and one in the ninth on defensive indifference. The Tigers only got one run in three early opportunities against Danks. But, three straight hits by Avila, Inge and Jackson in the sixth extended the lead to 3-0. The White Sox pitching struck out 10 Tigers over 8 innings so Scherzer had to be good in this game to get the win.

One of my daughters won a Lemonade Mouth tee-shirt from Radio Disney. I think that is a good thing. I also finally won the Twitter contest. It was just a tee-shirt today, but its the winning that counts.

Easter dinner was the leftover chicken tender and fries from one daughter’s meal and pizza that the rest of the family shared.
