Split

BASEBALL

The Mud Hens split a double header. Weber pitched well in the first game. He pitched all 7 innings. Indy scored 7 runs in the second of game 2 which removed any suspense. Waite started, which meant it was a bullpen game.

The Tony Packo’s menu didn’t appeal to my children. A pizza place nearby didn’t realize it was a doubleheader and so wasn’t open. We ended up at the Durty Bird. My Reuben had ample, good corned beef. Somehow the bottom BYB was damp, however.

I discovered a Yuenling Black and Tan at one of the concessions. This was good and explains the lack of detail in the game summaries.
