Cabrera 300, Turner 1

BASEBALL

I write on my phone since my computer is currently showing the Mud Hens game, where Andy Dirks is rehabilitating.

Not much happened outside of the game at the game. But, it was eventful. Jacob Turner pitch adequately for 5.1 innings and earned his first MLB win. Chicago’s Humber gave up 4 home runs in 3 innings.

Two of those home runs were to Cabrera. His first was his 299th. It landed by the flag pole in left center. The second was a dramatic way to reach 300. He hit a line drive into the second row of shrubbery by the camera well.

Quintin Berry hit an opposite field home run as well. I have seen both of Berry’s home runs in person. His other was in PNC Park.
