I have been trying to help students see that when solving inequalities graphically we compare y-values and then report answers in terms of x. I might share something like this with students so they can hopefully begin to visualize this the way I do. Updating any one of these functions would cause the other functions in the group to update. The original problems are just the examples I plan to use in class on Monday, October 11.
